"Knobology" Demonstration for the Proposed Addition of Cursor Icons to AGR-009 (User interface guidelines)

Knobology Demo

"Knobology" is a term that refers to the changing of the cursor icon while interacting with simulations of knobs, buttons, switches, etc. displayed on the screen. It has been proposed that this technique be standardized and added to AGR-009 (User Interface guidelines for CBT). The following is a demonstration of how standardized knobology might work:

Plugin Required (Before Running the Demo)

The RAPID Plug-in is required prior to running the demo. You can get it from the following location:

Please note that only IE (Internet Explorer) 5.0 apears to work with this demo. (i.e. "Your mileage may vary")
