AICC Certifies Technomedia Training

Technomedia’s SIGAL ® V.4 receives AICC web based CMI certification

SUGAR CITY, Idaho – - The Aviation Industry Computer-Based Training Committee , announced today that Technomedia Training Inc.'s SIGAL®V.4, has been certified as compliant with the AGR-010, the AICC's Web- based Computer Managed Instruction Systems (CMI) Guideline.

In order to obtain this certification Technomedia had to submit to a series of tests performed by the Technology & Education Center of the University of New Mexico, an AICC approved independent lab. UNM has verified that the extensive development done on the SIGAL®V.4 is indeed compliant to the stringent standards set for communication between a CMI system and the courses that it manages, thereby controlling the proper launching of courses, the interchange of information and the tracking of the student results over the web.

This certification confirms Technomedia's commitment to inter-operability between any AICC compliant courseware developed on the open market and its powerful Competency and Learning Management System marketed under the brand name of SIGAL®. Considering that Technomedia has been incorporating content for many years, the need in the industry for standards was clearly evident to insure complete and proper communication between a course and a Learning Management System (LMS). The AICC standards allow for the easy importation and exportation of courseware and the exchange of information such as test results, bookmarks and student data.

Any of Technomedia's customer using the SIGAL®V.4 system can now be confident that he can incorporate in his curriculum, the ever increasing number of AICC compliant courses available on the market.

According to Alain Latry, President and CEO of Technomedia Training Inc. "This certification goes a long way toward expressing our determination in providing our customers with the best and most complete solution in order to manage their employees competencies and relate them to the best courseware available."
