AICC Certifies Perception

Question Mark’s Perception Passes AICC/CMI Certification

The this week certified the Question Mark Perception software as compliant with AGR-010 (The AICC Guideline for Web Based Computer Managed Instruction Systems - also known as LMS - Learning Management Systems). This certification makes Perception the world's first testing and assessment system to achieve this standard.

What this means for consumers is that AICC-conforming LMS systems can be linked seamlessly to Perception. Trainers and educators can now create quizzes, tests, exams and self-assessments as an integral part of their training system. For example, a candidate can now log in to a LMS system and have their identity securely passed on to a test in Perception without them needing to log in again.

"The AICC is committed to the interoperability of learning management systems and assessment systems as they complement each other so well," stated William A. McDonald, AICC Independent Test Lab Chair. "We are really excited about QM Perception being the first assessment system to take the plunge and gain AICC certification."

"AICC is a superb standard," added Question Mark president Eric Shepherd. "AGR 010 is widely becoming accepted in the industry. We're delighted that it will now be possible for our customers to choose any AICC compatible learning management system to call our assessments from."
